Members of the Fairfield Junior Women’s Club are in charge of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce Christmas stroll and bazaar.

From 4 to 7 p.m. the Fairfield Junior Women’s Club is sponsoring a variety of activities at the Fairfield Community Hall. The bazaar with many vendors will be held in the main hall and there will be children’s crafts available in the back room. The club members will offer a soup supper from 5 to 7 p.m. at the hall. Members of the Faith Bible Church youth group will provide goodies for sale.

The Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department will escort Santa to the hall on the fire truck where he will greet children starting at 6 p.m.

A number of businesses will be offering Christmas specials throughout the day.

Those participating in the activities will have a chance to win prizes. For every $10 spent at participating businesses and vendors at the community hall, the purchaser will receive a ticket to place in a drawing for a variety of prizes. Participants need not be present to win.

The Rudolph’s Run Christmas gift tree with tags for children in the community that need a little extra cheer this holiday season will be available at the hall.

The funds raised by the Junior Women’s Club are returned to the community through various donations.

For those businesses wishing to participate in the drawing by handing out tickets, they can pick up tickets starting Tuesday from Fairfield Drug. Businesses will need to bring the filled out tickets to the hall by 6 pm Friday. Donations or prizes to give away are always welcome and can also be left at the Drug Store or at the hall on Friday starting at 2 p.m.
