On Monday, February 6, the Fairfield High School Skills USA officers traveled to Helena with their advisor, Mr. Rogers, to participate in a "Day of Advocacy." While they were there, they lobbied on behalf of CTE funding and programs in our public schools, took a tour of the capitol, and were introduced at the beginning of a House session by our representative, Ross Fitzgerald. They represented Fairfield well and had a great learning experience.
Members of the group in the photo above are (left to right) Darrah Rogers, Cole Troy, Bryden Batson, Cooper Christensen, Kamree Pearson, and Robyn Mathison.
