Wow! The student response for Donate a $1 for Denton and wear a hat has been nothing short of awesome this morning! It's incredible and even a little emotional to watch everyone so eager to help others in need.
We have received multiple phone calls from community members who do not have students in school, but wish to contribute. You are absolutely welcome to bring a donation in and add to the students' effort!
The Fairfield School, students, staff and community hope this small donation will help Denton through this unfortunate event.
Thank you Ms. Carpenter and students who helped organize this on behalf of the school.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Veterans Day Tribute Program today, especially the local Veterans!

Congratulations to Ms. Carpenter and the students who auditioned and were accepted into the North-Central honor band and choir! The Fairfield music program has 8 students awarded the opportunity to represent our school with their talents.
They will go to Choteau Nov. 29-30th for rehearsals and a concert.

FFA Fruit Sales will start next week.
Be on the lookout or contact John Park at 467-2528!

Congratulations to two Junior High Students!!!

Dear Parents/Guardians:
This announcement is to inform you that a student/staff member in early kindergarten has tested positive for the Covid-19 virus and has been confirmed by the Teton County Health Department. All parents/guardians of students determined to be in close contact will be notified and the Teton County Health Department will contact you for health guidance. Due to the exposure and in accordance with Fairfield Schools Stay in School Plan, we will shift the impacted class to remote learning starting Friday, September 24th.
We have implemented the Center for Disease Control safety precautions and in partnership with Teton County Health Department, we are continuing to provide a safe learning environment for all of our staff and students. During the remote learning period, custodial staff will use that time to deep clean and disinfect the affected areas.
We continue to encourage all parents/guardians and staff to monitor students closely for any signs of potential illness. Students should remain at home if they are exhibiting any of the symptoms of Covid-19 including fever, headache, new or persistent cough, loss of taste or smell, fatigue and/or stomach issues.
We would like to take this time to stress the importance of utilizing preventative measures such as, handwashing, social distancing and face coverings. Any success in preventing another outbreak depends on us. In order to keep our students and staff in school and safe it will take all of us to do our part in preventing the spread of the virus.
School officials will continue to monitor the situation and will provide further information if and when it becomes available.

Board Meeting Postponed...
The regularly scheduled school board meeting for 7pm, September 13th has been postponed until Monday, September 20th at 7pm.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
Thank you,

Fall Sports are Underway!
As the Fall sports season opens up this week, we would like to let everyone know that there are currently no restrictions on attendance and you are welcome to come support the Eagles!!
Both HS Volleyball and HS Football host home events this week.
JH GBB and JH FB also have upcoming events.
Concessions will be available for all events, thank you Marie Watson.
Children below 7th grade need to be accompanied by a parent and need to remain with their parents during the game(s). The playground is not supervised during home events and children should not be there unless accompanied by an adult.
Please do not bring dogs/pets to home events.
There are 2 porta-potties available on both sidelines for your convenience located on the south ends of the track.
We are encouraging home fans to sit in the North Bleachers for home volleyball and to remain on the west side of the field for FB.
All games will be streamed live on NFHS.
This week's volleyball games were successful.
We have had some internal troubles with our FB internet connection to the crows nest and the camera's there, but have been working on it. We are hoping to get the situation resolved, but it might be next week before it is repaired. We apologize if it cannot be fixed before Friday's FB game vs Loyola.
Parking behind the school is reserved for the opposing team bus and officials only.
Reserved parking for handicapped is available behind the south end zone for FB games. Please make arrangements with Mike Schmidt ahead of time to secure a pass/spot.
Player support signs will again be positioned along the inside of the fence in the North endzone for easy access before and after the game.
Please contact Mike Schmidt, Fairfield AD at the school if you have any questions or concerns.

Dear Parents/Guardians:
On Sunday, August 29th, 2021 the Fairfield School District was notified that 2 students tested positive for Covid-19. The positive tests were confirmed on Monday, August 30th. According to the Teton County Health Department, some of the District’s staff and students were in contact with those students during the period of possible exposure. However, the students last learned in person-to-person contact with fellow students/staff at school on Friday, August 27th, 3 days prior to the diagnosis. The students have not been at the school since Friday, August 27th.
If any staff or students are at risk of exposure, the Teton County Health Department will be in contact with those families or individuals to provide recommended guidance for a safe and appropriate course of action. It is still recommended that any person who feels sick or ill, seek out their medical provider for specific instructions.
We have implemented the Center for Disease Control safety precautions. In partnership with Teton County Health Department, we are continuing to provide a safe learning environment for all of our students. All areas accessed prior to isolation have been cleansed and sanitized.
We would like to take this time to stress the importance of utilizing preventative measures such as, handwashing, social distancing and optional face coverings. Any success in preventing an outbreak depends on us. In order to keep our students and staff in school and safe it will take all of us to do our part in preventing the spread of the virus.
School officials will continue to monitor the situation and will provide further information if and when it becomes available. You may contact the Superintendent if you have questions about these measures.
The Fairfield School District will not require nor request any personal information in association with vaccination status. In the event of an outbreak due to multiple positive cases and/or confirmed exposures, we may be required to shift to remote learning in an attempt to isolate and stop the spread. This may be by class, by groups or potentially school wide.

August and September Lunch Menus

The Teton County Health Department is providing a Back-2-School Health Fair at the Fairfield School Thursday, August 19th. There will be a wide variety of health opportunities and information available for both students and community members. Health care professionals from several organizations will be there to provide services and information as well as answer any questions you might have about a range of health topics. They plan to set up outside on the lawn in front of the main HS gym and lobby area.
Just some of the health services provided will include Routine Adolescent Booster shots, Vaping/Tobacco Prevention, the all new #LetsTalk app addressing Mental Wellness, Sun Safety, Blood Pressure Checks as well as the COVID-19 Vaccine for both adults and students 12+.
Access to the annual flu shot will not be available until later this fall as well as our annual blood drive.
We hope to see families and students take advantage of the opportunity while it is right here in town. While attending you are also welcome to take care of annual extra-curricular fees or turn in any school documents you might have at either office.
