Wow! The student response for Donate a $1 for Denton and wear a hat has been nothing short of awesome this morning! It's incredible and even a little emotional to watch everyone so eager to help others in need.
We have received multiple phone calls from community members who do not have students in school, but wish to contribute. You are absolutely welcome to bring a donation in and add to the students' effort!
The Fairfield School, students, staff and community hope this small donation will help Denton through this unfortunate event.
Thank you Ms. Carpenter and students who helped organize this on behalf of the school.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Veterans Day Tribute Program today, especially the local Veterans!

Congratulations to Ms. Carpenter and the students who auditioned and were accepted into the North-Central honor band and choir! The Fairfield music program has 8 students awarded the opportunity to represent our school with their talents.
They will go to Choteau Nov. 29-30th for rehearsals and a concert.

FFA Fruit Sales will start next week.
Be on the lookout or contact John Park at 467-2528!

Congratulations to two Junior High Students!!!

Dear Parents/Guardians:
This announcement is to inform you that a student/staff member in early kindergarten has tested positive for the Covid-19 virus and has been confirmed by the Teton County Health Department. All parents/guardians of students determined to be in close contact will be notified and the Teton County Health Department will contact you for health guidance. Due to the exposure and in accordance with Fairfield Schools Stay in School Plan, we will shift the impacted class to remote learning starting Friday, September 24th.
We have implemented the Center for Disease Control safety precautions and in partnership with Teton County Health Department, we are continuing to provide a safe learning environment for all of our staff and students. During the remote learning period, custodial staff will use that time to deep clean and disinfect the affected areas.
We continue to encourage all parents/guardians and staff to monitor students closely for any signs of potential illness. Students should remain at home if they are exhibiting any of the symptoms of Covid-19 including fever, headache, new or persistent cough, loss of taste or smell, fatigue and/or stomach issues.
We would like to take this time to stress the importance of utilizing preventative measures such as, handwashing, social distancing and face coverings. Any success in preventing another outbreak depends on us. In order to keep our students and staff in school and safe it will take all of us to do our part in preventing the spread of the virus.
School officials will continue to monitor the situation and will provide further information if and when it becomes available.
