The Fairfield School would like to remind all our student parents and to please vote on the District Technology and Safety Levy. You should all have gotten a HS District Ballot (white) and if you live in Fairfield, an Elem District Ballot (blue) in your mailbox. You can mail your ballots in the pre-addressed envelopes (don't forget to sign the back of the yellow one). Ballots should be mailed no later than Friday (4/28) to ensure they arrive on time, or you can simply drop them off at the HS office for the election judge. Thank you for taking the time to vote.

Due to staffing needs, Fairfield bus routes will need to go back to 4 routes like we did a month ago. If your children switched then, they will be on the bus they switched to again. This should only be for the week of April 24-28. We will update if it needs to be the following week, also. Thank you for understanding.

If you see several Teton County Sheriff vehicles and EMS vehicles, don't be alarmed. They are doing a trial run of their "Drunk Goggles" program that they are planning to bring to area schools. Thank you to Deputy Mark Grove for spearheading this event and being involved in our school activities!

FYI: We will be consolidating our bus routes from five down to four due to a staffing issue. It will continue until further notice and may possibly be for the remainder of the school year. Some students will be switching buses and others will have adjusted pick-up and drop-off times. Parents affected should have been contacted by either administration or bus drivers. We appreciate your understanding as we work through these changes. If you have any questions, feel free to contact your driver or me, Paul Wilson, at (406) 788-7507.

We want to let all parents know that we have been in contact with the Teton County Sheriff's Office regarding a student issue involving social media. An individual (possibly more) had their account compromised and received unwanted, inappropriate messages. Please monitor your child's phone and social media usage. Remind them not to accept friend requests from people they don't know in real life. Encourage them to let you know if they receive any inappropriate requests or images immediately. Let them know that they will not be in trouble if they have not done anything wrong. Snapchat seems to be the most common platform where this happens, but it could happen on other social media as well. If this happens to your child, please contact the Teton County Sheriff's Office to report it. They have many tools and resources at their disposal to assist you and potentially bring the perpetrator to justice. Their phone number is (406) 466-5781.
